We recommend booking 6 to 12 months ahead. Popular spring and autumn weekends can book up a year in advance, but we sometimes have last-minute spots, so reach out even if your date is coming up soon!
-
No worries, that's what we're here for! Fill out our enquiry form (it takes about 5 minutes), and if we have availability, we'll organise a chat to talk through your vision and put together a custom proposal.
-
Most of our couples spend between $10,500 and $15,500 for a full floral design covering the bridal party, ceremony, and reception. Some invest over $20,000. Our minimum for full service is $6,500.
We always suggest avoiding spreading your budget too thinly. Focus on one beautiful element, do it properly, and make a real impact.

We don't do set packages because every couple is different. Every proposal is custom-made for your venue, guest count, and vision.
-
YES, and we really recommend it! We deliver, set up before guests arrive, and return afterwards to collect everything. Breakdown is optional, but it means one less thing to worry about on the day.
-
We specialise in fresh, seasonal flowers and don't work with artificial blooms. If you're after all faux, we're probably not the right fit, but we're happy to point you in the right direction!
-
Absolutely! We'll send you home with care instructions.
For preservation, such as pressing, resin, or freeze drying, we work with a wonderful local artist. Just ask, and we'll connect you.
-
Yes! Our hire collection includes glass vases, vessels and ikebana tools, candle holders, and ceremony arches. Hire items are billed separately and returned after the wedding.
-
We offer a flower packing service so you and your guests can take blooms home as little keepsakes. Leftovers are composted, or you can choose to donate them to a care home or hospital.
-
Wherever possible, we source from local Australian wholesalers, growers, and farmers, with some gorgeous imported varieties too. Our goal is at least 70% local blooms.
-
Look beyond price and consider the quality of materials, design experience, and level of service included. Not all florists offer the same thing, and when florals are central to your day, the right partner makes all the difference.
-
We believe flowers hold feelings, mark time, and carry meaning. Every design is made with intention, not templates. We start by listening, then we create something that's truly yours. We're also proudly foam free, using vases, chicken wire, flower frogs, moss, and reusable systems that are better for your health and the environment.
-
It's personal, and about health just as much as the environment. Floral foam is made from phenol formaldehyde resin, never breaks down naturally, and the dust created when cutting or handling it can irritate breathing for florists, guests, and pets. Formaldehyde exposure is also linked to skin and eye issues.
We don’t claim to be a perfectly eco-conscious florist, but this is something we genuinely care about and it feels right for us here at THRU.
-
Yes! We have a minimum of $1,000 for à la carte orders like bouquets without full ceremony or reception flowers.
-
Yes, fully licensed with public liability insurance. We'll provide proof directly to your venue coordinator whenever needed.
-
We've helped couples through postponements before, including during the pandemic. We'll transfer your deposit to a new date within 12 months at no extra cost, as long as we're available.
